Excellent hotel, nice staff, good rooms and very central location. Great value!
Nothing really, it worth to stay!
Reina Cristina is a fantastic boutique hotel. It is decorated beautifully and we loved our room. I was thoroughly impressed with how spotlessly clean our room was along with how friendly and helpful the staff were. Wonderful location in a gorgeous city. We also got a fantastic price through Booked.net. I would definitely stay at Reina Cristina again.
Not entirely a fault but we had a car and found it a nightmare for parking as the hotel had no parking spaces, but I think that is a problem in Granada in general.
Very convenient to downtown. Wonderful old style Spanish decor.
Very hard to find. Driving in Granada is very difficult with all of the construction going on. Breakfast looks good but we felt it was very overpriced (12 euro). The bar next door has good coffee and tostadas.
Location was good.
We booked a triple room from the internet but they gave us a room with two single beds and a sofa bed that was hard to sleep. They had already taken the price of the room from our credit card before we got the hotel.
The hotel is centrally located, near the cathedral, restaurants etc. The room was small (a single room) but spotlessly clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were fluent in English and helpful and friendly after I got to the hotel.
I had problems driving to the hotel due to incorrect directions from Booked.net. It was a very frustrating experience. I brought the incorrect directions to the attention of the hotel staff who appeared unconcerned and even contradicted me that the directions were incorrect until I produced the directions I had carefully printed out prior to my trip. The lack of clear and correct directions was a recurring problem throughout my driving tour of Andalucia. In my opinion, each hotel should provide accurate driving directions (with landmarks since street signs are rarely visible) in the information section of the hotel for those who venture to drive in Spain.
Location of access to plazas and historic bldgs. Walking distance to buses.
Charged extra for use of wifi and also daily fee for use of safe. Room was small and located in corner of hotel, beds not too comfortable. Food adequate but did not taste too fresh.
Staff were very helpful, friendly and spoke English, French and German. The rooms were clean, the location was excellent and close to major historic attractions. The hotel has an important historic importance pertaining to Frederico Garcia Lorca.
One of the light switches did not work but it was not problem.
What I did notl like is that they gave us a room with anawful sewage smell, which must have been known to the personel. After complaining thewy gave us immediately another room. I do not know what would have happened if the hotelhad been fully booked
The Reina Cristina is an excellent hotel, perfectly located just off Plaza Trinidad in the centre of beautiful Granada and a very short walk to the Cathedral, many bars, restaurants and all the amenities of the city. My room had a small balcony and faced on to a side street - it was immaculately clean, very well appointed and comfortable in every way. There was no noise at all from either inside or outside the room! It was quite cold weather when I was there, especially at night and early in the day and the room was always very well heated. I got a good deal on the room and it was excellent value for money. Every member of staff that I met was very friendly and helpful and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I am certainly going back!
The only small criticism I have is that there was a charge for wi-fi in the room I was in although this may not be the case in the more expensive rooms. I was surprised by this as many of the cheap hostals now have free wi-fi and I think that the image of the hotel is slightly cheapened by this charge. But this is a very small criticism and overall I highly recommend this hotel!
Really bad service in reception. No welcome, no smile. Angry looks and really poor english. Unfriendly beahvior.
The hotel is very central, but is spacious and has a very elegant loby. Our room was a nice size, the decor was not modern, but the room was clean and tidy and there was free WiFi in the room
The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The breakfast buffet was delicious and there was a wide variety of foods available.
The hotel parking was abit steep and not that close to the hotel.
Very pretty reception area and helpful staff
Would prefer a duvet or extra blankets
location and connection with Lorca
Marie Luz , the receptionist went way above the call of duty finding our lost purse, then running after us to tell us that she had located it through the police, and then directed us to the lost property office at the Town Hall. She deserves a medal!
